Good news for everyone observing Ramadan! The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has pledged to keep the gas flowing during those important meal times – Sehr and Iftar. With the holy month likely starting on March 13th, this announcement makes things a little easier for Pakistani households.
Here’s the plan: to conserve gas at other times, supply may be reduced from 9am to 3pm and 10pm to 3am during Ramadan. But rest assured, you’ll be able to prepare your meals without interruption.
“We want everyone to be able to observe Ramadan without worrying about gas for cooking,” an SSGC spokesperson stated.
While Pakistan’s gas reserves are dropping, the SSGC is working hard to find new solutions. They’re looking into alternative fuels like biogas and ways to produce gas from other resources.
Let’s focus on the positive: families observing Ramadan don’t need to stress about disrupted meal preparations thanks to the SSGC’s efforts!
