Key discussions held on Ministry of Interior affairs
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday, where he briefed the premier on the outcomes of his recent official visits to Oman and Iran, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed matters related to the Ministry of Interior and reviewed ongoing initiatives under the ministry’s domain.
The Prime Minister was apprised of the key areas of cooperation explored during Naqvi’s foreign visits, including border management, security collaboration, and bilateral coordination mechanisms with both Oman and Iran.
Sources indicated that the discussions also covered progress on domestic law enforcement reforms, immigration procedures, and national security measures aimed at improving internal stability.
The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to strengthening regional partnerships while ensuring effective governance and public safety within Pakistan.
