A PIA spokesperson announced that the airline is offering a 15% discount on fares for pilgrims traveling from Toronto to Madina via Lahore. In addition to the fare reductions, PIA has announced the launch of direct flights from Quetta to Saudi Arabia starting August 6. This new route is anticipated to significantly ease travel for Umrah pilgrims and other passengers from the Balochistan region. The airline will operate two weekly flights between Quetta and Saudi Arabia, addressing the need for direct connectivity.
Previously, passengers from Quetta had to connect through major cities like Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad, often resulting in longer and more cumbersome travel experiences. The new direct flights will simplify the journey, making it more convenient and comfortable for travelers.
