The government of Sindh has approved the design of a new bridge over the Indus River, aimed at improving traffic flow and regional connectivity between two major urban centers, Hyderabad and Kotri.
The decision was taken during a Sindh Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The project is expected to play a key role in easing congestion and facilitating smoother transportation across one of the country’s busiest travel corridors.
According to officials, the new bridge over the Indus River will significantly improve mobility for commuters, freight transport, and intercity travel. The initiative is part of broader efforts to upgrade infrastructure and strengthen economic linkages within the province and beyond.
