In a major move to digitize its services and simplify access to identity documentation, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced an online fee payment system through its PakID mobile application. This update enables Pakistani citizens, including those living overseas, to apply for and pay fees related to national identity documents without physically visiting NADRA centers.
Applicants can now handle payments for services such as the Smart National Identity Card (SNIC), Child Registration Certificate (CRC), and Family Registration Certificate (FRC) through a variety of methods—offering greater flexibility and accessibility.
The PakID app supports the following payment options:
- Debit/Credit Cards: (Visa, Mastercard)
- Access the “Inbox” in PakID app
- Retrieve your application using your tracking ID
- Select “Pay Now” and enter card details
- A success message will confirm your transaction
- Mobile Wallets: (JazzCash, Easypaisa)
- Go to “Govt Payments” → “NADRA, NIS”
- Select “NADRA Fee”
- Input your tracking ID and required verification
- Choose “Pay in Full” to proceed
- e-Sahulat Outlets:
- Visit a nearby registered e-Sahulat operator
- Share your tracking ID and pay the stated fee
Revised Fee Structure for 2025:
- Standard SNIC: Rs 750
- Urgent SNIC: Rs 1,500
- Executive SNIC: Rs 2,500
NADRA aims to streamline user experience, reduce traffic at service centers, and promote contactless services in line with Pakistan’s broader digital transformation goals.
