Officials stated that the initiative will introduce modern waste collection, processing, and disposal techniques, contributing to a cleaner and greener Karachi. The project is also designed to enhance efficiency in municipal operations and reduce environmental hazards associated with unmanaged solid waste.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the plan aligns with the broader vision of transforming Karachi into a livable city, ensuring better quality of life for residents while supporting sustainable urban development.
