Gold Price Crosses Rs. 430,000 Per Tola in Pakistan After Second Straight Daily Increase

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward momentum on Friday, rising for the second consecutive day as both domestic and international bullion markets recorded significant gains. The latest increase pushed the price of gold above Rs. 430,000 per tola, reflecting stronger global demand and ongoing fluctuations in international precious metals markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs. 3,000, reaching Rs. 430,436 in the local market.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also witnessed a notable increase, climbing by Rs. 2,572 to settle at Rs. 369,029. The rise follows continued volatility in global bullion markets, where international gold prices also moved sharply higher during the latest trading session.

Gold prices in Pakistan are largely influenced by international market trends and the exchange rate between the Pakistani rupee and the US dollar. Any fluctuations in global gold prices or currency movements can directly affect domestic bullion rates.

The latest increase comes as investors around the world continue to view gold as a preferred safe-haven asset during periods of economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and changing monetary policies. Strong demand from international markets often translates into higher prices for local buyers in Pakistan.

For investors, gold remains one of the most widely used assets for preserving wealth and protecting against inflation. Many households in Pakistan also consider gold an important long-term investment and a traditional store of value, particularly during periods of financial uncertainty.

Jewellery traders and bullion dealers closely monitor daily price movements, as fluctuations influence consumer purchasing patterns and overall market activity. Rising prices can temporarily reduce jewellery demand, while investors may continue buying gold as part of their long-term financial planning.

International gold prices have remained sensitive to factors such as global inflation expectations, central bank interest rate decisions, currency market movements, and geopolitical developments. These factors continue to shape investor sentiment and influence bullion markets worldwide.

Market analysts believe that gold prices could remain volatile in the coming weeks as investors await fresh economic data and signals from major central banks regarding future monetary policy. Any significant changes in the global economic outlook may continue to impact gold prices in both international and local markets.

As Pakistan’s bullion market responds to global developments, consumers planning to purchase gold for investment or jewellery are advised to monitor daily price updates before making buying decisions.

With gold now trading above Rs. 430,000 per tola, the precious metal continues to attract attention from investors seeking stability while highlighting the close connection between Pakistan’s local bullion market and international price trends.
