Broad Daylight Heist: Businessman Robbed of Rs 8 Million in Karachi

In a brazen daylight robbery that has shaken Karachi, a businessman was stripped of Rs 8 million within Korangi area on Friday. This hefty sum, withdrawn from a nearby bank, became the target of bandits on motorbikes, leaving the city with heightened security concerns.

CCTV footage, a crucial tool in the investigation, revealed the calculated plan. One suspect, later identified as Saeed Alam with a lengthy criminal record, entered the bank to scout while his accomplice waited outside. Police, armed with this visual evidence and assistance from NADRA, are actively pursuing the apprehension of both culprits.

This incident wasn’t the only display of violence for Karachi that day. In Surjani Town, a young man, Faiz Muhammad, tragically lost his life resisting a robbery attempt. The 20-year-old first-year student was shot by bandits on motorbikes who fled after injuring him and his father. Despite efforts at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Faiz succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family and community in mourning.

These back-to-back criminal acts highlight the need for intensified police presence and proactive security measures in Karachi. While investigations into both cases are ongoing, the city awaits swift justice and a renewed sense of safety for its residents.
