A female passenger, Saira Mustafa Sheikh, lost her bag containing jewelry worth Rs4 million, Rs40,000 in cash, bank cards, and documents at the Karachi airport on August 7. She filed a complaint with the Airport Police Station, and the police used CCTV footage to track down the bag.
They found that the bag had been taken by the driver of a car parked nearby. The driver had found the abandoned bag and deposited it with the security department of the company he worked for.
The security personnel handed the bag over to the police, who returned it to Ms. Sheikh.
SSP Malir Hasan Sardar Niazi praised the police for their work and announced awards for SHO Kaleem Moosa and his team.
